TadPole Viewer Released in the Wild

April 01, 2021 | IN Blog, Dashboards, dependencies, Video | BY Carter Hesterman

At JupiterOne, we are always trying to find new and exciting ways for you to draw meaning from your data. Every spring we are reminded that digital assets and living organisms are not so different. Some assets are fast, others slow. Some impress us with what they can accomplish while others reside in the swamp of mediocrity.

Today (April 1st, 2021) we are releasing to the wild, our latest data visualization option: "Tadpole Viewer". We believe by representing your assets as live organisms, you will quickly see which assets have been configured correctly, and performing at peak capacity. The TadPole Viewer will allow you to spot which assets are high performers and should receive increased care and investment. Underperforming or risk inducing assets will appear to be swimming in circles or not moving at all, self-identifying as misconfigured, indicating an inefficient usage of your resources. A live, dashboard webcam gives each of your cyber assets the opportunity to showcase their abilities to virtually "swim" in the murky pond of data visualization.

We're very excited to get this feature in the hands and S3 buckets of our users and welcome any feedback that you might have! Create your own views of your tadpole assets using the JupiterOne platform. Choose "TadPole Viewer" as your dashboard option. The platform is free to use, no time out, no credit card. This is our contribution to the community and environment. Let us know how it turns out.
